Steps Towards Admission

Initial Screening

This is likely to prove to be the hardest step that needs to be taken. In order for us to help we will need to speak with you or your loved one. Give us a call, (323) 372-1281, and speak with a Certified Counselor to begin the admission process.

During the initial screening numerous questions will be asked which will allow the counselor to identify the likely level of severity for various areas of the caller's condition.

Assessment Appointment

During the first face-to-face session the applicant has with a Certified Counselor, an in-depth evaluation will occur to identify the areas of the participants history which are effecting their ability to abstain or thrive independently within the community. This admission session typically ranges between 60 and 90 minutes in length and occurs at our Walnut Park, CA location.

Treatment Planning

Treatment planning begins with the assessment and admission process. The information obtained in the in-depth assessment and admission session is put together in the treatment plan with an array of steps or goals to be reached during the course of treatment. With each accomplishment the treatment plan will be updated so as to constantly ensure that the participant is engaged in the action stage of change.
